While in custody, Mr. Ahman Tanveer died. A file on Ahman read that a heart attack was the cause of his death. He was (43 years old) and a deportee, held in Monmouth County Correction “Institute” (Wow on this one). This “Institute” is in Freehold, New Jersey. A written note from another deportee, detailed Mr. Tanveer’s death…It was written using the best English this inmate could muster.

The note mentioned that Ahman prior to his death, complained of severe chest pains and pleaded to the authorities that he required medical intervention. On Sept. 9th, 2005, this precious being, died. A human, a being, a son, perhaps a lover, a life of stories and perspective, had passed away. No priest, no shaman, no Muslim cleric, no Christian minister, no family, and nothing more to share his passage from life and into death…Alone? Ahmad Tanveer is dead. He had stories and history.

From the article by; Nina Bernstein_NYT, Friday, April 3, 2009, “the proof of and the reality that he had been a living human being was difficult to confirm.”

We are Americans and we have concentration camps. Many of these places or “institutes” are “for profit” organizations. There are (500+) of these concentration camps. They hold (500,000) inmates guilty of being from other countries, not America…They die of the nature of natural causes. They die from issues that could be solved, had they been treated or at the most cared for by the Americans that were a part of this culture of prisons.

Mr. Ahmad Tanveer was a Pakistani New Yorker. His mother lost a son. Somewhere in this World Electric, a light cries. Somewhere, his electric soul smiles and knows that he is a Child of the Universe and that he has a Right to be Anywhere!

May Allah and the Mother and Father of Creations, please forgive us all…?

Please Note: The above is not Fiction…Mr. Ahmad Tanveer is/was real. He died in an American Concentration Camp.
