I knew him for a while – the only person amongst all those I was fortunate enough to clean boots for who rivalled Freddie in the sheer magnetism stakes. RIP… “ashes to ashes…” THE Artist – by definition and by excellence… I had the chance to listen to him “live” in Paris many years ago… he loved France, in general and Paris, in particular – where he used to come several times/year – before he got sick…
